Could this be Iraq?

Hello all,
i pray that the new year has been good to yall. I know it will be for me, we have about three months to go then i will be back in the states on American soil. This picture was taken yesterday morning and when i see sights like this one, sun rise, sunset, or just through out the day, it is hard to believe that a place where bad stuff happens everyday that it could be so beautiful. It is times like these that i know that God has truly blessed my life being here and i know that he is around. If you didnt know i was in iraq, you would pry never guess that this picture came from this place.

  2. Hey Justin! Not much more time at all! You're still getting leave in Jan or Feb. aren't you? That'll help the 3 months go by faster after that. You really aren't missing much here - weather wise anyway. We've been socked in every day this winter except for about 2 days. If you have sun, enjoy that part of it at least! It's been pretty dreary around here. Chuck is out golfing today because we finally had a break in the weather, so they're taking advantage of it! Take care, hit a few golf balls ~ Love Kristi & Chuck

  4. Hey babe,
Can't wait to make a couple revisions to that photo - first, I will be next to you in the picture, two, you will be in a tank top and cargo shorts, three, we will both be sipping mai tais, and four, that sunset will be behind Hawaiian palm trees, with nothing but miles of ocean reflecting it's gorgeous colors. 12 days in counting. Love you! erika
